Love our Neighbors Online Cohort
For congregational teams curious about neighborhood partnerships!
As our neighborhoods, world, and connections to one another continue to change each day, it becomes vital for our congregations to strengthen their roots in the neighborhoods where they are planted. We don’t have to do this work alone but we can do this together in community! You are invited to join our FIRST Love Our Neighbors Online Cohort that will launch this fall. What will we do together?
-
-
- Dig into scripture and learning that prepares us for holy listening.
- Practice holy listening with the neighbors around our church buildings.
- Get curious about what the Holy Spirit is calling us into as a faith community.
- Experiment with what we have learned.
-

One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment
in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
– Matthew 22:35-39
