Worn out leaders are reaching out to LEAD for support. While navigating the pandemic we have all faced, we are drawn to give particular attention to leaders who are also:

• recovering from hurricanes of the past two years
• continuing in their commitment to work with people living in poverty
• as BIPOC leaders, trying to make their way in a white church

These three groups of leaders are critical to God’s mission and, at the same time, vulnerable with limited resources to do the work they are called to do. While they may feel very different from one another on the surface, at the core they are all exhausted and yet doing their best to respond to a burning call to lead others into a deeper faith.

These leaders are asking LEAD for help.
We are asking you to help us fund this work.

As a small nonprofit, LEAD has done this work for years, but the resources we have set aside for this are limited due to the impact COVID has had on us as an organization. We really need your help, in order to do a great job helping others. 100% of the money you give will serve leaders under pressure. We have identified these three communities because we believe that the passion and commitment of these leaders is something we must invest in.

If we don’t support people who are the most excited about God’s mission in the world, why are we doing this at all?

Every donor is invited to our Sacred Valley Scholarship Fund After Party – the Zoom party where I will share some of the learnings I had while hiking the Inca Trail, in the geographic Sacred Valley, a few weeks ago.
